Today, we’re celebrating in style with a delightful card that’s sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Buckle up for some stamping fun!
Let’s start with our trusty Basic White cardstock base—clean, simple, and ready for action. Now, here’s where the magic begins. I took another piece of Basic White and gave it a light spritz of water before running it through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the fabulous Flowering Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. This nifty technique really brings those zinnias to life, creating a beautiful, textured background that just begs to be touched!
Next up, I adhered our embossed masterpiece to a slightly larger piece of Basic Black cardstock. This gives it a classy frame and really makes those zinnias pop. Then, the whole ensemble was adhered to the front of our card. Talk about a stunning stage!
But wait, it gets even better. I grabbed a scrap piece of Basic White and stamped the cutest butterfly from the Labeled With Love stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black. With the help of my trusty Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers in Poppy Parade, Lemon Lolly, and Pumpkin Pie, I gave our fluttering friend a burst of vibrant color. Can you feel the summer vibes? 🌞
To give our butterfly a little lift, I adhered it to the card front using dimensionals. It’s like it’s ready to fly off the card and wish someone the happiest of birthdays! And, of course, no birthday card is complete without a heartfelt sentiment. I used the “Happy Birthday” stamp from the Labeled With Love stamp set to add the perfect finishing touch.
And there you have it—a card that’s simple, stylish, and sure to spread joy! So, who’s the lucky recipient going to be? Maybe a friend, a family member, or even a colleague who deserves a little extra cheer on their special day?
