There’s something so satisfying about a card that looks beautifully layered and detailed, yet comes together with ease—and this one does exactly that. I had such a fun time creating this project using the Delicate Whispers bundle along with the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder. The combination of soft texture, cool tones, and simple layering makes this card feel both fresh and elegant while still being completely doable when you need something quick.
I started with a Basic White card base in a landscape orientation, which immediately gives it a slightly different feel. The embossed Basic White panel on the front adds just the right amount of texture, thanks to the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder doing all the heavy lifting. From there, I built a layered focal area using Blueberry Bushel and Pool Party cardstock, then added pieces of Square Snippits Designer Series Paper for a balanced, eye-catching layout.
The sentiment strip stamped with “Hello Friend” in Blueberry Bushel ties everything together, and then comes the fun part—those die cuts. I mixed foliage pieces from both the DSP and Basic White, and added sweet little Blueberry Bushel flowers for dimension and movement across the card front. A few Moody Palette Glossy Dots finish it off with just the right touch of shine, like a little jewelry for the card.
I also created a short video showing this card coming together, so you can see just how quickly it all layers up. Sometimes it’s easier to watch the pieces fall into place, and I think you’ll love how simple this layout really is once you see it in action. It’s one of those designs that looks like you spent a lot more time on it than you actually did.
