Today, I’m thrilled to share a vibrant and fun birthday card that’s sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. It’s like a mini celebration in paper form, bursting with color and cheer. Let’s dive into the details and see how this cheerful creation came together!
I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock for the card base. This is my go-to for a sturdy and clean foundation. After cutting it to a standard card size and folding it in half, the base was ready to be dressed up.
For the next layer, I had a stamping session with the Labeled With Love stamp set. The colors I chose—Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, and Pumpkin Pie—are so bright and lively. It felt like mixing a palette for a summer fiesta! The result was a beautifully stamped piece that radiated happiness.
Every great card needs a touch of elegance, so I wrapped some Silver and White Sheer Ribbon around this stamped layer and tied it into a neat bow. It’s like putting a bow tie on a tuxedo—instant sophistication! I then adhered this layer to the card base using dimensionals, giving it a nice bit of height and making it stand out even more.
For the sentiment, I turned to the Labeled With Love Punch/Dies and cut out a label from Basic White Cardstock. I stamped the outline frame in Pumpkin Pie and added the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. This classic color combination really makes the sentiment pop! The label was then positioned over the ribbon using Dimensionals, adding another layer of depth to the card.
And there you have it! A colorful, cheery birthday card that’s perfect for brightening someone’s special day. This project was a joy to create, and I hope it inspires you to make your own burst of birthday cheer.
To finish it all off, I added some Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots. These little dots are like the sprinkles on a cupcake—bright, fun, and absolutely essential. They add the perfect finishing touch, making the card sparkle with joy. This card was so easy to create with the Labeled With Love stamp set. I created a fabulous fun fold card using the Labeled With Love stamp set and you can see that blog post right here.
