Today, I’m sharing an adorable and easy-to-recreate card using the Country Lace Designer Series Paper with the Hearts & Hugs stamp set.
This card is perfect for sending a heartfelt ‘thanks’ to someone special.
The layout starts with whatever color base you want that coordinates with the Designer Series Paper (DSP) or other papers you decide to use. I have the Country Lace DSP here. After adhering the DSP to the base, I stamped my image on the art piece and colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers in Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink, and Smoky Slate to color the mouse, giving it a cute and whimsical look.
This layout works for many different papers and stamp sets. I also created the card with the Irresistible Blooms stamp set.
You’ll find lots of uses for this layout! I simply love how these cards turned out.

Measurements: (all in inches)
Card base: Basic White – 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
DSP – 3 x 3-3/4 and two pieces cut at 1-3/4 square
scrap for die cut – I used the Stylish Shapes square in the 2-inch size in Basic White
