Christmas is right around the corner, and what better way to get into the festive spirit than by making a handmade card! I recently created this bright and cheery Christmas card using the Iconic Celebrations DSP, Joyful Images Ephemera, and Joyful Sayings Ephemera. The fun, bold colors really bring the holiday greeting of “Happy Christmas” to life, and I’m excited to share the details with you.
For this card, I played with layers and textures to create a dynamic design that’s both eye-catching and joyful. The Iconic Celebrations DSP sets the stage with its vibrant patterns, while the Joyful Images and Joyful Sayings Ephemera add that extra touch of whimsy and personality. The result is a card that’s perfect for brightening someone’s holiday season.
Below, you’ll see that I’ve included a template of the measurements I used for this card so you can recreate it at home. Feel free to put your own twist on it by switching up the colors or ephemera, but if you love the combination I used, it’s all here for you to try out!
Make sure to check out the video below, where I walk you through how to make this card step-by-step. Whether you’re new to cardmaking or a seasoned crafter, this tutorial is designed to help you easily follow along and create your own version of this festive card.
I’d love to see your take on this project, so feel free to share your creations with me on social media or in the comments below. Let’s spread a little holiday cheer together!
