One Suite = Amazing Possibilities with Soft Layers, Muted Florals & Sentiments That Shine
Today’s cards are those designs that makes my heart do a happy little dance. I reached for the Words of Beauty Bundle, along with the Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP), and let me tell you… this bundle and DSP does all the heavy lifting. Between the beautifully muted florals, the just-right foliage elements, and the sentiments that can take center stage on anything from simple notes to layered masterpieces, it’s a for dream creating.

For my featured card, I began with a soft and elegant foundation and adhered a full panel of the Very Vanilla floral pattern from the Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to a Crumb Cake card base with the fold at the top for a clean, book-style look that I love. On top of that, I added a coordinating dotted DSP pattern where about half an inch from both the top and bottom edges had been torn to let that gorgeous white core peek through. This creates texture without adding bulk. That distressed detail instantly adds warmth and character to the front of the card.

As for the focal point, I chose the trio of “because” dies from the Words of Beauty Dies. Using Vellum on the bottom, Crumb Cake in the center, and Petal Pink on top, the result is soft, dimensional, and beautifully subtle—exactly the feel I was going for. A few Stampin’ Dimensionals™ gave it the lift it needed to stand out from the torn DSP layer.

Just beneath that main sentiment, I added a second message stamped in Mossy Meadow. The “You’ve Been on My Mind” sentiment fits perfectly inside the medium label die from the same set of dies, and I cut it from Very Vanilla cardstock to keep everything cohesive. Before adhering the label, I wrapped Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine around the card front three times and tied it off to the right side. The sentiment label sits right over the knot, adding function and beauty all at once. Three Crumb Cake Pearls of Beauty bring in the finishing touch, adding just the right amount of shimmer.

Inside the card, things were kept simple but polished with a Very Vanilla panel layered over Mossy Meadow. It frames the interior beautifully and gives you plenty of space to write a heartfelt note.

I also did a fun fold card with some sweet floral and foliage layers tied together with a jaunty little twine bow.
I couldn’t stop myself! Yes – I did a third card with bright florals for this wintery and cold day!
I’m absolutely thrilled with how all these cards created with the Brushed with Beauty Suite of products turned out. There’s something so comforting about these colors and textures together.

If you’d like to recreate these designs and get even more inspiration from the Brushed With Beauty Suite, I’ve put together a full PDF tutorial for you.
