Today, I’m thrilled to share a page that’s particularly close to my heart—a tribute to the beauty of family and the joy of adventure.
For this project, I started with the rustic elegance of Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP) as my base layer. After stamping the Leaf Collection stamp onto strips of Blueberry Bushel, Coastal Cabana, and Crushed Curry with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, the strips were added to the layout.
To infuse a touch of fun color, I layered 6 x 6 pages of the Full of Life DSP, creating a stunning watercolor effect where hints of Blueberry Bushel, Coastal Cabana, and Crushed Curry peek through, adding depth and texture to the page.
The final embellishment was the gems. These are so great – I love these faceted gems!!
Framing the family photos with Berry Burst cardstock brought focus to some cherished moments, while leaves die-cut from the Friends for Life collection in Basic Gray, Coastal Cabana, and Crushed Curry added a whimsical touch.

This page is more than just a collection of photos and embellishments; it’s a celebration of family—where life begins and love never ends.
Inspired by the themes of journey and the quest for meaning in the movie “Away We Go,” this creation reflects the essence of discovering what truly matters in life: the bonds we share with those we hold dear. I’m entering this page in the Lasting Memories Layout Challenge, #702 where the theme is “Inspired by a Movie”.
