Welcome! Today, I’m excited to share a tutorial on creating a charming handmade greeting card that’s perfect for spreading joy to your loved ones. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or just starting out, this project is sure to inspire your creativity.
Begin by selecting your desired cardstock and cutting it to the preferred size. I recommend standard card sizes such as A2 (4-1/4 x 5-1/2). The Country Lace Designer Series Paper (DSP) is cut into four panels for this card. You can mix and match patterns for a playful look or keep them uniform for a more polished aesthetic.
Run your second layer through the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder to add texture and dimension.
Assemble your card layers.
here are the measurements (in inches):
Basic White card base – 5-12 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
2nd layer of Basic White (embossed) 4 x 5-1/4
DSP four of them – 3 x 1
Basic White for adhering the DSP – 3-1/8 x 4-1/2
scrap of DSP for animal
Inside – Basic White 3-7/8 x 5; Misty Moonlight 4 x 5-1/8
