I’m thrilled to share a beautiful and easy Fun Fold birthday card today that I recently made using some of my favorite supplies. This card is perfect for any recipient and is sure to impress!
For this project, I used Shaded Spruce for the card base and bright Basic White for the inside. The inside panel has a little trim of the Full of Life Designer Series Paper (DSP) on the left side, adding a touch of color and pattern. The front of the card features the same DSP, but with a twist – it was embossed using the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder, giving it a wonderful textured look.
To complete the card, I wrapped a piece of Linen Twine around the front panel for a bit of rustic charm. The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is stamped in Shaded Spruce on a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut at a fun angle, adding a playful element to the design. This card is a real winner for any recipient!
And that’s it! You now have a stunning Fun Fold birthday card that’s sure to delight anyone who receives it.

Measurements:
- Shaded Spruce: 7 ¼” x 5 ½” and 4 ¼” x 4 ¼”
- Whisper White: 4” x 5 ¼” (inside), 7/8” x 3 ¼” (sentiment)
- DSP: 2 ¾” x 5 ¼” and 3” x 4”
Here are Instructions:
- Score larger Shaded Spruce at 3”
- Score the smaller Shaded Spruce at 1” (in picture below the 1” is tucked under the white layer)
- Adhere larger piece of DSP to front of card
- Adhere DSP panel of 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ to inside panel as shown
- Emboss the front panel DSP and adhere to the “front” of small layer (keep in mind the direction it folds)
- Adhere the 1″ fold underneath the Basic White inside panel and adhere to the inside of the card.
- Wrap Linen Thread around the front and tie into bow
- Stamp Greeting & adhere with Dimensionals
How easy is that? I love how complicated this card looks and yet it’s so easy and fun to make.
Happy crafting!
