Thank You Card
There’s something extra special about a card that opens in an unexpected way. Today I was in the mood to create a fun fold card, and this design was such a delight to make. The unique scoring and cutting create panels that unfold beautifully, giving plenty of space for patterned paper, stamped details, and a heartfelt message.

For this project, I chose a Mossy Meadow card base paired with the beautiful Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper. The soft shimmer in this paper is absolutely stunning in person and adds just the right touch of elegance to the design. I layered the panels with Crumb Cake mats and Basic White pieces, creating a warm, natural palette that pairs perfectly with the stamped wheat and florals from the Delicate Whispers stamp set.

The left panel features the main art piece where the stamped wheat and flowers come together to form a soft botanical arrangement. I began by lightly stamping the foliage images with stamped-off Crumb Cake ink to create a subtle background. The flowers and wheat were stamped separately, colored with Stampin’ Blends in Cloud Cover, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, and Cajun Craze, and then die cut with the coordinating Delicate Whispers dies.

Layering the die cuts adds wonderful dimension to the card. Some pieces were adhered directly to the art panel while others were popped up with Dimensionals to give the arrangement movement and depth. The sentiment, “Thank You Kindly,” was stamped in Secret Sea ink and layered onto a strip of the shimmering Designer Series Paper, which ties the whole design together beautifully.

When the card is fully opened, the center panels reveal spaces for writing a personal message. This fun fold layout gives the card a wonderful interactive element while still leaving room for heartfelt words. I finished the card with Secret Sea Natural Matte Dots placed in the centers of the larger flowers for a simple but elegant embellishment.

I’m entering this card into the A Cut Above March 2026 Challenge, where the theme is anything goes with a die cut. This project was the perfect opportunity to bring out those coordinating dies and create a dimensional floral arrangement.

The finished card feels elegant, textured, and just a little bit magical thanks to the shimmer in the paper and the movement of the layered die cuts. Fun fold cards always bring a bit of surprise to the recipient, and this one was just as enjoyable to create as it will be to give.
If you’d like to see the card come together, I’ve also created a short video showing the finished project.
Thanks so much for being here! Hope you have a chance to get inky today!
