A Festive Friends Snowman Card with Cozy Winter Layers: The cute characters in the Festive Friends Bundle are just perfect for a fun, festive card—and today’s project is a quick one! I had a card sketch I wanted to share in my newsletter and needed something adorable to bring it to life. With the whimsical snowman from the Festive Friends Cling Stamp Set and some cozy winter papers, this one came together in a flurry of fun.

I started with a folded Thick Basic White card base, adding a cheerful rectangle of the Garden Green striped pattern from the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the left-hand side. This piece gives the perfect balance of pattern and white space. To add a pop of classic holiday color, a Cherry Cobbler Cardstock rectangle was layered on the right side of the DSP.

Next came a Coastal Cabana diamond-patterned square, also from the Nests of Winter DSP, adhered near the center for a frosty yet fresh contrast. I cut a Basic White circle using a Stylish Shapes Die and layered it right on top. To pull everything together, a strip of Silent Night Specialty DSP (love how it’s already embossed with snowflakes) was banner-cut on the right end and tucked slightly under the circle—such a sweet little detail that ties the layout together.

The snowman himself is the star of the show! Stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends in Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler, and Timid Tiger, he’s full of personality. A little shimmer from Wink of Stella on his hat fur trim adds just the right touch of frosty sparkle. After die-cutting him with the Festive Friends Dies, I popped him up with Stampin’ Dimensional for depth and cheer.

For the finishing touches, I stamped a the snowflakes and the sentiment in the bottom right corner of the card using Memento Ink, then scattered Sparkling Sequins across the design for that perfect holiday twinkle.

This card came together in no time and is bursting with merry charm. Whether you’re crafting for friends, family, or your newsletter sketch challenge, the Festive Friends Bundle and Nests of Winter DSP as well as the Silent Snowfall DSP make it easy to build warmth, joy, and a whole lot of cuteness into your holiday cards.
