Featuring Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives
Today’s project is one of my favorite kinds—a simple layout with serious wow-factor! I’m sharing a fabulous card design I created using the Perfectly Pears stamp set, coordinating dies, and the gorgeous Painterly Pears DSP—all part of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives (aka the goodies you won’t find in the catalog).

This mosaic-inspired layout is surprisingly easy to pull together, and it’s so versatile, I ended up making five unique variations using different stamp sets, color palettes, and occasions. You’ll definitely want to recreate this one—and don’t worry, I’ve got a free downloadable PDF tutorial and a video to walk you through it step by step.
Let’s start with the first card, which I’m entering into The Paper Players Challenge #754, where the theme is Food Glorious Food.

I cut chunky triangles out of a panel of Painterly Pears DSP (3-3/4″ x 3-1/4″) using my Paper Trimmer. These were layered onto a Secret Sea cardstock panel (4-3/8″ x 3-1/2″) in a mosaic style, then adhered slightly offset to the right on a Cloud Cover cardstock layer (5″ x 3-3/4″). All of that was mounted to a Thick Basic White card base (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″). I die cut a pear and its stem/leaves directly from the DSP, then stamped “Thank You” in Secret Sea ink on a scrap of Basic White and punched it out using the Modern Oval Punch. The sentiment was popped up on Dimensionals, as was the pear below it. A knotted bit of Mossy Meadow & Gold Ribbon added the perfect little finish.

Inside, Basic White is layered onto Cloud Cover and Secret Sea, with a strip of matching DSP along the bottom. The envelope flap was dressed up with the same Painterly Pears DSP for a coordinated look.

The whole design of the first card is horizontal, but I also made a vertical variation using the With You In Mind stamp set and the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. This version features Crushed Curry (I used two-tone cardstock), Basic White, and Pecan Pie, and was finished off with five Cajun Craze & Gold Dots. I’m entering this one into the Global Design Project Challenge #513 over on Instagram, which features a warm and cozy color combo.

The other three cards use the same layout but bring totally different vibes. One features the Prairie Grass stamp set and has a misty morning feel created with Memento Tuxedo Black and ink blending in Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie. The grassy scene is stamped along the bottom, with the sentiment “Sending the healing power of love” nestled among Low-Profile Sparkle Dots. This one’s soft and soothing—perfect for a thinking-of-you card.
Then there’s a festive Christmas card made with the Jar of Joy stamp set and Sweet Jar Builder Punch, all dressed up in Timeless Plaid DSP. I used warm holiday tones like Basic Beige, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Basic White, with the sentiment “Wishing You the Sweetest Christmas” stamped front and center.
Last but not least, I had fun with the Cheers & Sips stamp set and Celebratory Sips DSP for a bold, cheerful design. Bright Old Olive, Basic White, and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock make it pop, and the “Cheers” sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black brings the party.
Each envelope got a unique little upgrade to match its card, because we all know it’s the details that make handmade magic. Below is the video for you to watch from my YouTube channel. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to the channel. I appreciate your support more than I could tell you!
