It’s here! The very first Paper Party Live is in the books—and I had the best time crafting live on YouTube. If you missed it, no worries—the replay is ready and waiting for you to watch anytime!
This week, the focus was on a card layout that’s simple, repeatable, and—best of all—versatile. For the Live I used the Textured Notes stamp set and Woven Textures Designer Series Paper to create a warm, earthy card that feels like a handmade hug. The soft Basic Beige, rich Pecan Pie, and cozy basket-weave pattern just made everything come together beautifully.
Here’s a peek at the layout details:
- Card base: Basic Beige
- Mat layer: Pecan Pie
- DSP layer: 5″ x 3-3/4″ (Woven Textures DSP)
- Three accent panels: 1-1/4” x 2-3/4” Basic Beige, stamped with the foliage image in Pecan Pie from Textured Notes – I also discovered the perfect die in the coordinating set that fits those panels exactly—such a nice surprise!
- Sentiment: “You Are Seriously the Best,” popped up on Basic White
- Inside: Basic Beige panel with a Pecan Pie mat
And because I couldn’t stop at just one… I created two more versions of this same layout to show how you can make it your own:
🥂 One card uses the Cheers & Sips stamp set with the fun and festive Celebratory Sips DSP—it’s perfect for birthdays or brunches!
🌈 The other card uses the Choose Happy stamp set with the bold, vibrant Full of Life DSP. This one just radiates joy!
This layout is an absolute keeper, and I hope you’ll try it with whatever stamps and papers you have in your stash. It’s a great go-to design you’ll want to return to again and again.

Next week’s card (6-26-2025) supplies/measurements:
- Stamp set sentiment you love (I’m using Impressions Abloom)
- Ink that will coordinate with papers you are using (that’s Strawberry Slush for me)
- Embellishments are optional (I snagged the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems)
- Cardstock/Paper:
o For card base: 5 ½” x 8 ½” (I am using Thick Basic White)
o Designer Series Paper/Patterned Paper (I grabbed Floral Impressions):
▪ (2 pieces) 4 ¼” x 1”
▪ (2 pieces) 1” x 3”
o Coordinating Cardstock (I’ve got Strawberry Slush): 3 ⅛” x 1 ⅞” and 5 ⅛” x 3-7/8″ for inside the card
o A Neutral Cardstock – embossing this piece is optional (I’m using Basic White and I embossed it with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder): 3” x 1 ¾”
o Scraps for sentiment (I chose Basic White so it’s easy to see) - o Basic White for inside the card: 5″ x 3 ¾”
