Today’s cards have warmth, texture, and heartfelt messages as while exploring the beautiful Prairie Grass stamp set.

For the month of October, Prairie Grass and the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper have been a favorite. I love how the soft tones and intricate patterns pair together for soothing, nature-inspired cards. But stay tuned—next month, I’ll be showcasing the Branching Out stamp set with a mix of Christmas cards, birthdays, and creative alternatives. You can find all the details about November’s upcoming Paper Party Lives under the Classes section on my website!

I got this card from Create With Stamping Friends, a fabulous site where there are tutorials for sale. I encourage you to check them out. The first card features a Pretty Peacock card base paired with a Pool Party panel beautifully framed with the Textured Notes dies. The soft grass images in Pretty Peacock create a peaceful background. I added a torn strip of Pecan Pie brushed with ink for depth, and a narrow herringbone weave strip from Woven Textures DSP for just the right amount of pattern.

The heartfelt sentiment, “You Are Not Alone – I’m Here For You,” is layered in coordinating punches and the card front is finished with Holographic Resin Dots for a little sparkle. Inside, the soft matting of Pool Party ties everything together perfectly.

The alternative version brings in a whole new mood with a Blackberry Bliss card base and Highland Heather panel. I layered torn cardstock in Soft Seafoam and Blackberry Bliss instead of DSP for a lovely textured look.

The stamped imagery and sentiment are from the upcoming Friendly Foliage set (being released in November and is Item No. 167021), creating a beautiful “Here For You Always” message framed in soft circles of coordinating cardstock. It’s rich, comforting, and perfect for sending love and support.

Finally, my bonus card is a minimalist beauty—simply Very Vanilla cardstock, ink, and the Prairie Grass set. I used Blending Brushes with Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze inks to create a glowing sunset scene inside a masked rectangle.

A simple circle mask formed the “sun,” and a few drawn birds complete the serene landscape. The sentiment, “Sometimes Life Is Just Hard,” makes this card both tender and comforting.

Each card has its own personality, but they all share one thing in common—heart. I love showing how stamps can take you from textured layers to clean, one-layer art pieces that speak volumes.
Whether you’re crafting along live or catching up later, I’m so glad you’re part of the fun. Thanks for creating with me!
