Three ways!
There are some card layouts that you create once and immediately know you’ll be reaching for again and again… and this is absolutely one of them. I was inspired by an online sketch challenge, and after making a card last week with the sketch, I couldn’t wait to see how else this design could come to life.

For my first card, I went with a soft and pretty feel using the 2025–2027 In Colors. Cloud Cover and Secret Sea create such a calming combination, especially paired with the coordinating Designer Series Paper. I added the sentiment, “You Make the World a Better Place,” along with stamped florals and a bit of dimension to bring everything forward. The subtle background stamping and those Moody Palette Glossy Dots give it just the right finishing touch. This one feels gentle, polished, and full of heart.

Then I took that exact same layout and completely switched things up. This version is bold, bright, and full of energy. Poppy Parade, Azure Afternoon, and Daffodil Delight really shine against the Basic Black layers, and the patterned papers from the Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper add so much movement. The little planter filled with cheerful blooms steals the show, and I love how the rhinestones cascade from large to small for a bit of sparkle. It’s amazing how the same design can feel so different just by changing the colors and elements.

The third card might look familiar if you were here last Friday. I created it as part of my Design Team project for the Cut It Up! challenge. Check out the Blog Post Here. The Old Olive base paired with the soon-to-be-released Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper and Secret Sea cardstock creates a rich, grounded foundation. I layered die cut ferns in Garden Green and Old Olive, added a delicate butterfly, and finished it with dewdrop embellishments for that natural touch. The combination of textures and tones gives this one a peaceful, organic feel that I absolutely love.

What makes this layout so special is how versatile it is. With just a few changes, it can go from soft and subtle to bold and vibrant to earthy and elegant. It’s such a great reminder that you don’t need a brand new idea every time you sit down to create. Sometimes all you need is a layout you love and a willingness to try it in a new way.
In this short video, you’ll see a quick making of the first card, followed by a look at all three finished designs together. It’s a fun way to see how this layout transforms with different colors and products.

I’ve also created an exclusive step-by-step tutorial for this layout that I’m sharing with my newsletter subscribers.
