Stand Tall – Stand Up Display Card

There’s something so satisfying about a card that can stand up and be proudly displayed — literally! It’s one of those fun folds that looks impressive but comes together quickly, which makes it an instant favorite in my book. This is one that I got from Create With Stamping Friends – a site where you can get all sorts of tutorials to purchase. It’s fabulous.

This card began with a Lost Lagoon card base, scored and folded to form the display structure. A few simple panels of Woven Textures Designer Series Paper gave it texture and warmth. I stamped the tall prairie grass along the bottom of a Basic White panel using Lost Lagoon ink — some stamped off for that natural, layered depth — and added the heartfelt sentiment “You’re Not Alone – I’m Here for You.” I love how the Holographic Resin Dots shimmer like morning dew among the grasses.

To finish off the inside, I added a white panel for the message, again stamping the grass along the bottom for continuity. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful card design that’s easy enough to make in multiples — and who wouldn’t love receiving a card that literally stands tall?

Of course, I couldn’t resist making a few more! The bright version pairs Strawberry Slush with Floral Impressions DSP and a pop of Darling Duckling. The flower from Gallery Blooms and the “Thinking of You” sentiment from Wonderful Thoughts create a totally different look — still the same layout, but now cheerful and full of energy.

And those 2025–2027 In Color Flat Pearls? They add just the right touch of shine!

The autumn version is cozy and rustic with Gathering Together Specialty DSP, Basic Beige, and Cajun Craze. The Gathering Moments stamp set shines here, with warm tones of Early Espresso, Garden Green, and Cajun Craze inks bringing all the fall feels.

The Cajun Craze & Gold Dots finish this one off with rich texture and elegance.

And then there’s the bonus project — a fun, artsy card using acrylic blocks to create the background! I stamped blocks in Crushed Curry, Fresh Freesia, and Lost Lagoon on Basic White, rotating each to make an abstract, colorful backdrop. Over that, I stamped the Prairie Grass image in Memento Tuxedo Black for a striking silhouette. It’s mounted on Crushed Curry and a Basic Black base for high contrast. Inside, a layered white-and-yellow panel ties everything together.
