This week, I’m highlighting one of my absolute favorite tools in paper crafting—punches—and today’s project features the charming Sweet Jar stamp set and its coordinating punch. I knew I’d enjoy working with it, but I didn’t expect to love it this much! The possibilities truly feel endless.

For the video tutorial, I created a gate fold card—because who doesn’t love a good fun fold? It all begins with a Thick Basic White card base, folded to open from the center. The two front panels were layered with Basic Black cardstock and topped with panels of the new Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper. The subtle pattern of white and grayish stars gave just the right touch of texture and whimsy.

The main art panel showcases a sentiment from the Sweet Jar stamp set—“Sending a little luck today”—with the word “luck” stamped in Granny Apple Green and the rest in Memento Tuxedo Black. Along the left side, I arranged a trio of adorable stamped jars filled with four-leaf clovers. I shared a helpful tip in the video on how to easily line up your builder punch elements using a template—a quick trick that saves time and gives clean results every time!
- Measurements – Wildflower Birthday Card
- Card Base (Old Olive) – 11 x 4-1/4, scored and folded at 5-1/2
- Layer 1 (DSP from Wildflower Birthday) – 5-1/4 x 4
- Layer 2 (Blueberry Bushel) – 4-5/8 x 3-3/8

- Scrap of Gold Foil and Basic White for punching
- Inside card – Basic White 3-3/4 x 5, Blueberry Bushel 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
Once the jars were punched and layered, I popped the top one up with dimensionals and added a lid to complete the look. The panel was then matted on Basic Black and attached to the left flap of the gate fold for a pop of movement and depth. Inside, a Basic White writing panel is matted with Lemon Lime Twist and then again with Basic Black, tying everything together. I added nine white Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to the front for a subtle shine—and because a little sparkle is always a welcome thing, right?

But the fun didn’t stop there. I made four more cards using the Sweet Jar bundle to show just how versatile it can be! There’s one bursting with hearts and bright bokeh colors, another with party-ready candles in multiple jars, a jar with a gold lid and balloons to celebrate, and even a cascade of Itty Bitty Bokeh embellishments spilling out from a tilted jar. Each card uses a totally different color palette and layout, from sweet and sentimental to bold and celebratory. I hope they inspire you as much as they delighted me while crafting.
