I love a good clean and simple card—and today’s project from Paper Party Live is exactly that. It’s crisp, white, beautifully layered, and full of soft springy color… courtesy of the Darling Dinos stamp set. Yep, this dino-themed set has some sweet little flowers tucked inside, and I couldn’t resist giving them the spotlight in this design.
This layout is built on a Thick Basic White card base, and all of the layers stay within that clean white-on-white look that I love for maximum simplicity and elegance. For the focal point, I used a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped three of the floral images from Darling Dinos using Early Espresso ink toward the bottom right. These little blooms were then colored with Stampin’ Blends in Darling Duckling, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green—just enough color to make them pop while keeping the card fresh and airy.
I layered that panel onto another piece of Basic White, then adhered the whole thing to the card base with Dimensionals to give it that soft, lifted feel.
The sentiment, “You’re the Best,” is stamped on a strip of Basic White using Early Espresso. I tied linen thread into a double bow and tucked it behind the sentiment for a touch of texture, then popped it up right over the base of the flower grouping. It’s a sweet, simple focal point that pulls the whole card together.
On the inside, I layered a panel of Darling Duckling cardstock behind a clean Basic White insert—giving you space to write a thoughtful note while keeping the color flowing throughout the card.
I’m just a little obsessed with how quick and easy this layout is—and how truly gorgeous it turns out. It’s the kind of design that works for so many occasions and adapts beautifully to other stamp sets. I’ve already recreated it with Feathered Fun and Sunshine Vibes and I’m tempted to try it with every new set that lands on my desk!
