Today, I’m excited to share a sweet and hopeful card I created using the Love & Strength stamp set and the gorgeous Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP). This project was a joy to put together, and I can’t wait for you to see the short video I made to walk you through the process!
Card Design: Layers of Warmth and Strength
The base of the card is in Cajun Craze, a deep and cozy color perfect for autumn-inspired designs. I topped this with a layer of Calypso Coral and Basic White, giving the card a warm but clean canvas to work on.
One of my favorite details on this card is the three sweet columns of the Splendid Autumn DSP that I placed across the front. These add just the right amount of pattern and texture while keeping the overall look of the card fresh and balanced.
The powerful sentiment, “There is Hope,” from the Love & Strength stamp set, was stamped in Early Espresso—a beautiful contrast to the soft autumn tones. I adhered it using dimensionals so it really stands out against the columns of DSP.
Inside the Card
I love to finish my cards with a thoughtful interior, and this one is no exception! Inside, I added a touch of Calypso Coral and Basic White, leaving plenty of room to write a heartfelt message to the recipient.
Finishing Touches
To complete the card, I added three Pecan Pie and Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots—just the perfect final touch to tie everything together sweetly.
