Today’s beautiful card brings all the warmth and coziness of autumn to life. This card was inspired by the rich colors of the season, and I couldn’t resist using Crushed Curry, Pecan Pie, and Pumpkin Pie to set the perfect fall tone. These colors blend together wonderfully, creating a backdrop that feels comforting and inviting. I also featured these colors as a color combination to try in my latest newsletter. The focal point of the card is two sweet birds, stamped and die-cut from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set. I love how these birds add a touch of charm and character to the design. They symbolize friendship and joy, making this card perfect for sending a heartfelt message to someone special. The sentiment, “A friend like you brings me happiness,” is from the same stamp set and really captures the essence of this card.
For a little extra texture and interest, I added an embossed layer using the Changing Leaves embossing folder. The leaves gently pop off the Crushed Curry cardstock, adding dimension without overpowering the rest of the design. This subtle detail ties everything together, evoking the feeling of walking through a crisp autumn forest.
To finish the card, I used a bit of leftover (from a card kit) gold cord, which adds a hint of elegance and sparkle, along with Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to catch the light and bring just the right amount of shimmer. These small touches elevate the overall look, making the card feel complete and polished.
This project was such a joy to create, and I love how it turned out. It’s perfect for sending a little happiness to someone who means a lot to you. The combination of rich fall colors, delicate embossing, and charming birds really brings this card to life.
