One Layout & One Technique with Prairie Grass | Paper Party Live
When I say today’s Paper Party Live is fabulous, I mean it! Crafting with the Prairie Grass stamp set and adding in fun Designer Series Papers (DSP) makes for a stunning layout that’s both simple and full of personality.
This design is one of those layouts that you’ll find yourself using again and again because it works with absolutely everything!
The base of the main project begins with rich Pecan Pie cardstock and builds with layers of Gorgeous Grape and that beautiful tweed print from the Woven Textures DSP. The panels create the perfect backdrop for our Prairie Grass image, which is inked in Lemon Lime Twist and shaded with Gorgeous Grape using a Sponge Dauber on the cattails. There’s a touch of blending along the bottom that grounds the image beautifully and gives such a polished, professional look.
Here’s where the fun begins — I couldn’t stop with just one version for this great layout! The alternate design swaps out the colors for Secret Sea patterned paper from the Boho Vibes DSP pack and introduces the Sunshine Vibes stamp set into the mix. The contrast between the dark blue and the crisp Very Vanilla tones is just breathtaking. I’m absolutely in love with this entire combination — it’s fresh, modern, and so easy to adapt for any season or sentiment.
