Hold onto your scissors and adhesives because I’ve got a delightful card to share with you today! It’s a fun fold card that’s bound to make anyone’s day a little brighter. Imagine a card that’s not only cute but also interactive. Yes, I’ve created something using the adorable Fluffiest Friends stamp set with its coordinating dies, and trust me, it’s a card that’s sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.
To start, the gorgeous Country Woods Designer Series Paper was cut to 12″ x 5-1/4″, and scored at 2, 4, 6, and 8 inches. After a little accordion-style folding with my trusty bone folder, it was adhered to a sturdy panel of Night of Navy cardstock. This card has layers, my friends, and we’re just getting started!
Inside, I wanted to keep it simple yet elegant, so I stamped the sentiment “Enjoy Your Day” from the Labeled With Love stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. This panel then found its cozy spot on another piece of Night of Navy cardstock before being placed inside the card. Classic and chic!
For the front and middle parts of the card, I cut squares using the two largest squares from the Stylish Shapes dies. Night of Navy and Basic White cardstock came together beautifully here. I stamped “Happy Birthday” and “Just For You” on the Basic White squares, then layered them onto the Night of Navy squares. These little beauties were then adhered to the fun fold sections, creating a delightful peek-a-boo effect.
Now, let’s talk about the star of the show – this fluffy little friend holding a balloon! I stamped this cutie with Memento Black ink, colored it in with Crumb Cake (which is a great Kraft-type of color) and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends, and then gave it the VIP treatment through the Cut & Emboss Machine. The coordinating dies made sure it was perfectly cut out. This adorable critter found its place on the front part of the card, adding that extra dose of charm.
But what’s a party without more balloons? I cut additional balloons from Real Red and Night of Navy cardstocks, accented them with my trusty Stampin’ Write black marker, and adhered them using dimensionals for a pop of fun. Balloon strings were artfully drawn with the same marker, adding that final touch to this festive card.
And there you have it, folks! This fun fold card is as adorable as it is fun to make. Whether it’s a birthday, a special occasion, or just because, this card is sure to make the recipient’s day. So grab your supplies and give this fun fold a try.
