There’s nothing quite like the excitement of opening up a brand-new suite of Stampin’ Up! products and letting your creativity run wild. The moment I got my hands on the Perfectly Pears stamp set and dies, the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper, those Low Profile Sparkle Dots, and that stunning Mossy Meadow & Gold Ribbon—I couldn’t wait to dive in and make something special.

As I was scrolling through social media for a little inspiration, I came across a fabulous fun fold card created by L. Dunn of Stamptastic Design, and I immediately knew that this card layout would be the perfect starting point for my first creation with this suite. And let me tell you—it turned out pear-fectly!

To begin, I cut two circles using the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes set. This layout would definitely work with other shapes too, but I loved how the circle softened everything. I then die cut two small pears and a large pear, along with some coordinating leaves, straight from the Painterly Pears DSP. From Mossy Meadow cardstock, I die cut a large hashmark accent and also embossed a panel using the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder for added texture.

For the fun fold base, I started with a piece of Painterly Pears DSP to create a top-folded inner card. That DSP “card” was then adhered inside a Mossy Meadow card base scored at 4-1/4″ and again at 2-1/8″ on the left front panel. It creates such an interactive, layered card structure—so much fun to open!

Inside the DSP card, I added a Basic White panel matted with Mossy Meadow and dressed it up with a narrow coordinating strip of DSP along the bottom. The middle front section of the Mossy Meadow card base holds the embossed panel, and I added a strip of DSP to the front as well for a cohesive look.

Now, onto the sentiment circles. I stamped “Hello” in Mossy Meadow onto one of the circles and layered those Mossy Meadow hashmarks right over it for a bit of added interest. This circle was only adhered on the left half, so it overlaps the front of the DSP card but isn’t attached to the middle part. The second circle was stamped with “A Good Friend Is A Gift” and adhered to the front of the inner DSP card underneath the top circle perfectly, so it cannot be seen when the card is closed. The two small pears were added here to bring in some sweetness and a pop of color.

To add a showstopper element, I layered the large pear over some of that gorgeous Mossy Meadow & Gold Ribbon, folded in a soft S-curve behind it. The pear is popped up with dimensionals so it slightly overlaps the sentiment circle, giving the card that eye-catching focal point. Finally, I finished off the card with three Darling Duckling Low Profile Sparkle Dots around the Hello sentiment.

This layout is a keeper—and the Perfectly Pears suite made it a total joy to create. I’m already thinking about what other colors and shapes I want to try with this same fold. If you’re like me and get giddy over new supplies and a fresh layout, you’re going to love this one too.
