The Expanding Pop Out Gatefold is one of those designs that looks complicated, but once you break it down, it’s actually very doable. And the WOW factor when the card opens? Totally worth it! I used the Gathering Moments stamp set with coordinating dies, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso, plus some Designer Series Paper for that seasonal touch. But of course, you can make this fold with whatever papers and stamps you have on hand—it’s a great one to adapt for birthdays, holidays, or any occasion.

How did you make sure the inside piece was perfectly centered. I’m finding that if it’s even a tiny bit the mechanism won’t open and close correctly
Hi JoAnn! I didn’t even try to be precise. I just put the folded-up rectangle of cardstock into the center of the card base on top of the DSP and went from there. I’m so sorry that yours isn’t opening and closing correctly. I’ve made the card a few times and had no issue at all.
