Today’s card is bursting with cheerful colors and happy vibes! The card base starts with soft and sweet Petal Pink, topped with a coordinating “rainbow” pattern from the Boho Vibes Designer Series Paper. A strip of Mossy Meadow DSP in an “X” pattern anchors the center portion of the card and adds a bold, grounding element.
To add movement and color, I stamped a zig-zag pattern from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink on a 3/4″ strip of matching cardstock. Then I brought in natural elements by stamping and fussy-cutting foliage in Mossy Meadow on Basic White cardstock. That pretty greenery is tucked just slightly to the left of the bold sentiment panel, adding visual balance and texture.
The sentiment? It’s all about “Hello”—and I tripled it! Three Basic White rectangles, each 1/2″ x 1-1/2″, stamped and popped up with dimensionals, add playful movement across the card front. They’re positioned in a slightly off-kilter layout for extra whimsy. A shimmer of Wink of Stella over the foliage and a trio of Mossy Meadow Muted Palette Dots brings sparkle and depth to the whole piece.
Inside the card, a clean panel of Basic White is matted with Mossy Meadow and finished with a thin 1/4″ strip of the coordinating DSP to tie everything together.
It’s sweet. It’s sunny. And it’s totally Color Throwdown-worthy. I hope this card brightens your day as much as it did mine while creating it! I’m using this card as my entry for this week’s Color Throwdown #838 Challenge, where the color palette includes hot pink, a peachy color, and green. My take? Strawberry Slush, Petal Pink, and Mossy Meadow—they come together beautifully in this sunshine-inspired design!
